A skydiver who lost his prosthetic leg during a jump has it back after a farmer spotted it in a soybean field. Double amputee Chris Marckres, of Vermont, said of his lost limb: “I think my adrenaline was so high and I was just so excited, I didn’t realize I had lost it.” Farmer Joe Marszalkowski said he was glad he hadn’t accidentally “sucked up” the limb in his combine harvester.
Man wins lottery and becomes dad on same day
An Australian man won a lottery jackpot of more than $70,000 (£39,000) and became a father on the same day. Don't date men in their thirties, says expert
A dating expert claims that women should avoid dating men in their thirties. Pointing out that men in their thirties are often “off the market”, Jana Hocking wrote: “Steer clear of anyone within the 30 to 40 year old bracket.” Hocking suggests dating men who are either younger than 30 as they're likely to be looking for romance or those older than 40, who tend to be looking for love after a divorce.
