Seventh ‘official’ sighting of Loch Ness Monster this year
And other stories from the stranger side of life
A tourist who inadvertently photographed the Loch Ness Monster has recorded the seventh “official” sighting of the year. The man says he took the photo while on holiday with his family on 29 August, but didn't realise he had captured the mythical beast until he looked back at his holiday snaps. His photo of a dark object in the distance near Point Clair has now been accepted by the Official Loch Ness Sightings Register.
Couple barred from pub for bondage session
A couple have been barred from a gastro pub for having a bondage session on the terrace in full view of other diners. On Sunday evening at The Mill, in Ulverston, Cumbria, the dominatrix tied her “slave” to a roof beam with a dog lead and began spanking him with a paddle. Eyewitnesses say the slapping sound of the spanking could be heard above the soundtrack of Lovely Day by Bill Withers.

Kentucky driver draws his own licence plate
A man in Kentucky was pulled over after police officers noticed that his licence plate had been drawn by hand. The officers then discovered that the driver had no insurance and was driving on a suspended licence. The Millersburg Police Department offered a “pro tip” for drivers thinking of drawing their own plates: “Don’t forget to draw the registration sticker.”
