Police officers in the UK reportedly put the wrong type of fuel into police vehicles 299 times during 2017. More than 30 of the UK’s police forces admitted to mis-fuelling incidents. With an average repair cost of £178 per car, the total bill came to £53,337.
Former postman caught with 400kg of undelivered mail
A former postman in the Italian city of Turin is facing charges after police discovered 400kg of undelivered mail in his home. The 33-year-old reportedly told police he hadn’t delivered any mail for at least three years because his salary was too low, before he quit his job in 2017.

Woman blames ‘windy day’ for cocaine
A Florida woman has blamed the weather for a bag of cocaine police found on her when her car was stopped. “I don't know anything about any cocaine,” the woman reportedly told police. “It's a windy day. It must have flown through the window and into my purse.” She was charged with possession.
