Man questioned after bringing dead raccoon into a San Francisco McDonald’s

A McDonald’s restaurant in San Francisco was forced to close for three days after an unknown man brought the bleeding corpse of a dead raccoon into the eatery and placed it on a table. Workers called police, who interviewed the man over the incident. The man did not meet the criteria to be detained on mental health grounds, and was released at the scene.

Canadian man wins trip to Canada

A Canadian man holidaying in the US has won a trip to Canada on a game show. Steven Moores from Oshawa was plucked from the audience to appear on The Price is Right, and went on to win the final showcase, which included a holiday to his home country.

Commentator mistakes dwarfs for toddlers

Cricket commentator Mark Nicholas has been left red-faced, after he mistook two dwarfs playing cricket on the field for toddlers, on the opening day of the third test between South Africa and Pakistan. Nicholas appeared stunned when the bowler showed significant talent bowling a spin delivery, while his co-commentator picked up on his mistake.
