On Thursday it was rumoured that Real Madrid could offer Gareth Bale to Chelsea as part of a deal to bring Eden Hazard to Spain.

According to new reports on Friday a similar offer involving Bale could now be made to Manchester United regarding Paul Pogba.

Wales forward Bale does not feature in Zinedine Zidane’s plans for next season, the Daily Mail reports, and Real would be open to a potential swap deal with United for French midfielder Pogba.

Spanish newspaper AS reports that Real have put a €130m (£112.4m) price tag on Bale but would accept a swap for targets such as Hazard and Pogba.

Eriksen in, Kroos out?

Spanish outlet El Confidential reports that Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen remains a top target for president Florentino Perez, who prefers the Dane to Pogba.

Should Eriksen or Pogba move to Madrid they could take the place of German midfielder Toni Kroos, who has reportedly told the club that he wants to leave.

AS reports that Kroos, 29, has previously been linked with Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.

Hazard happy Zidane is back

Chelsea star Eden Hazard, a target for Real Madrid, is pleased to see Zinedine Zidane back in football. Zidane resigned last May but recently returned as head coach at Real.

Hazard told RMC: “I’m not a Real Madrid player but as a Zidane supporter, I’m very happy he came back because football needs Zidane. For Real and their supporters, it’s good, for other teams, a bit less because Real Madrid with Zinedine Zidane win a lot.”

When asked about Chelsea the Belgian added: “My future is not something that I want to talk about right now. There are rumours left and right but for me, I have another month with Chelsea.” (Sky Sports)

Felix wows United fans

Manchester United target Joao Felix scored a superb hat-trick in Benfica’s 4-2 win against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League on Thursday. The 19-year-old’s performance has been praised by United fans who have urged the Old Trafford board to sign the young striker. (Daily Mail)

It was not just Joao Felix who was on the scoresheet in the Europa League fixture between Benfica and Eintracht Frankfurt. Serbia striker Luka Jovic, 21, scored for Frankfurt and watching the young duo from the stands was Manchester City’s director of football Txiki Begiristain. (The Sun)

Neres wanted

David Neres is a target for Arsenal and Everton and the Premier League clubs have already held talks with Ajax over the 22-year-old winger. Valued at €40m (£34.5m), the Brazilian is also being monitored by Manchester United and Chelsea. (The Daily Telegraph)

Tagliafico targets Prem

Another Ajax star in demand is left-back Nicolas Tagliafico. Linked with Arsenal and Tottenham the Argentine admitted that he would like to play in the Premier League one day. He told TyC Sports: “I think the Premier League is the biggest and hardest competition in the world. Being a young football player, you always want to play in Europe and end up playing in the best leagues like the Premier League.” (ESPN)

Gomes and Zouma could stay

Everton manager Marco Silva says there’s “always a chance” that Andre Gomes and Kurt Zouma could stay permanently at Goodison Park. Midfielder Gomes is on loan from Barcelona and defender Zouma is on loan from Chelsea. (Liverpool Echo)
