Premier League giants Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool will battle to sign Sporting Lisbon star Bruno Fernandes.
The Sun reports that United “remain ahead” of their rivals in the race to sign the attacking midfielder, who scored 32 goals for Sporting last season.

Bale not on United list

German club Borussia Dortmund are considering a move for Arsenal captain Laurent Koscielny. The 33-year-old central defender could be available for £10.6m. (Daily Mail)

Manchester United will “break the bank” to sign Harry Maguire from Leicester, but their rivals Manchester City have been put off by the England defender’s £90m price tag. (Daily Mail)
Villa target Butland
Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland is a target for newly-promoted Aston Villa. The England international, who is valued at more than £20m, has also been linked with Bournemouth. (Sky Sports News)
Record fee for Moraes
Aston Villa will smash their transfer record by signing £22m striker Wesley Moraes from Club Brugge. Villa’s previous record transfer fee was £18m for Darren Bent in 2011. (The Daily Telegraph)
Spurs spending spree
Tottenham Hotspur could break their transfer record twice this summer in a bid to sign Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele. Real Betis have already rejected a £53m offer for Lo Celso while Lyon value Ndombele at £71m. (Daily Mirror)
Gunners to miss out on duo?
Arsenal could miss out on signing Ryan Fraser and Thomas Meunier. The Daily Mirror reports that Scotland winger Fraser has hinted he may stay at Bournemouth for another season while in the Daily Express Belgian right-back Meunier says he wants to remain at Paris Saint-Germain.
Lascelles to Lazio?
Lazio are keen on Newcastle United captain Jamaal Lascelles. The Italian club are weighing up a bid of £30m for the English defender and could also offer left-back Jordan Lukaku as part of a deal. (The Guardian)
Lukaku ‘agrees personal terms’
Jordan Lukaku’s brother Romelu, the Manchester United striker, appears to be closing in on a move to Inter Milan with reports in Italy suggesting he has “agreed terms” with the Serie A club. (Daily Mirror)
