English clubs primed as Juventus talk of Pogba exit
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are on alert as a new chapter begins in the long-running Pogba saga
Monday's transfer rumours are dominated by Manchester City and the growing speculation that they are poised to make a bid for Jack Wilshere, while Paul Pogba finds himself back in the headlines as Juventus hint the Frenchman could be sold.
According to the Sunday Times Manchester City are "considering another high-profile raid on Arsenal" by swooping for England midfielder Jack Wilshere. In recent seasons the Sky Blues have stripped the Gunners of Emmanuel Adebayor, Gael Clichy, Samir Nasri, Bacary Sagna and Kolo Toure, and the ST claims that City are preparing to rebuild their squad and the 23-year-old Wilshere is the first name on their shopping list.
Metro claims that Chelsea have "made an approach" to sign midfielder Charles Aranguiz from Brazilian club Internacional. The feisty playmaker, who's been linked with a number of European clubs in the past few months, caught the eye for Chile at the World Cup last year, but it appears the Blues have made the first move by suggesting he would like to join them at Stamford Bridge. Metro says that Chelsea "would offer about £4.3 million" for Aranguiz but there is as yet no indication if this would be acceptable to his club.

Are Juventus finally coming round to the idea of selling Paul Pogba in the summer? The Daily Express certainly thinks so with the paper reporting that "talks have already begun about a move". The French international has been linked with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United this season and a recent injury that will sideline him until the end of the season could be the catalyst for a move to England in June. According to the Express, Juventus have been managing OK without their influential midfielder and as a result any serious offer for Pogba is likely to be given due consideration.
