Premier League news: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is loving life at Man Utd
Robertson signs Liverpool deal and Huddersfield prepare for Man City challenge
Manchester United’s players and fans are enjoying Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s return to the club and the Norwegian is also delighted to be back.
A United hero as a player, Solskjaer took over as caretaker boss in December and under his management the Red Devils have won all six matches.
Tomorrow United host Brighton and Hove Albion at Old Trafford and will be looking to extend their winning run.

Speaking ahead of the Premier League clash the 45-year-old revealed his delight at how things are going so far. He said: “I love it to be fair, and I have to say I look forward to getting up in the morning to start work again, I always do in football.
“I love working with people, trying to improve people, and here you want to go to bed at night.”
One player to benefit from Solskjaer’s arrival is Paul Pogba. The French midfielder has scored four times in the winning run and he says the caretaker boss has got the team playing the right way.
Pogba told Sky Sports News: “The way we are playing we have more possession of the ball. We know more where to attack and where to go. We have more of a pattern of play and more of a structure.
“That makes it easier for everyone. So I would not say it is only myself. Yes, I have scored a few goals and had a few assists but it is all the team [that deserves credit].”
Robertson signs until 2024
Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson has committed his long-term future to the Premier League leaders by signing a new contract.
The 24-year-old Scotland captain will now stay at Anfield until 2024 and he said: “As soon as the club came to me, it was a no-brainer - I want to stay here, so as soon as they put an offer on the table it was signed as quickly as that.
“It was a pretty easy contract for me and I’m sure for the club as well. We both agreed very quickly, that’s why it’s been done so quickly. Hopefully we have a lot of good days ahead.”
Jurgen Klopp’s side are currently four points clear at the top of the Premier League and tomorrow they host Crystal Palace at Anfield.
Albrighton also agrees new deal
Another Premier League player to agree a new contract is Leicester City’s Marc Albrighton. The winger’s new deal will keep him at the King Power Stadium until 2022.
The 29-year-old said: “Leicester offered me a deal and I was always going to sign it. I’ve had some good times here and hopefully I can continue to do so.
“When I first signed, I looked at the squad that was in the dressing room and the club itself in terms of its fanbase and what sort of club it was.
“It was a family club back then and it’s a family club now. It’s something that suits me down to the ground. It really fit in well with me as a person and it's the perfect fit for me.”
One player who has left Leicester is Tunisian defender Yohan Benalouane. The 31-year-old has signed an 18-month contract at Championship side Nottingham Forest.
Hudson ready for City challenge
Huddersfield Town caretaker boss Mark Hudson says it’s been an emotional week for the Premier League strugglers following the departure of David Wagner.
German manager Wagner left by mutual consent on Monday and Hudson has been placed in temporary charge of the league’s bottom side.
On Wagner leaving the club Hudson told the Huddersfield Examiner: “He came in in the morning and said his goodbyes. You create real relationships and bonds so yes it was emotional.”
Hudson’s first match will be against defending champions Manchester City on Sunday. It will be a tough test against Pep Guardiola’s free-scoring side.
“I don’t find it daunting at all,” Hudson added. “I enjoy it, I enjoy a challenge. I look forward to it like everyone should. I can’t wait to be there.”
