A driver crashed his £200,000 Ferrari supercar in Yorkshire "an hour" after collecting it, but walked away with just his pride injured.
In a post on Facebook, South Yorkshire Police revealed the driver, who has not been named, lost control of his limited-edition Ferrari 430 Scuderia near junction 37 of the M1 before it fell around 160ft down a siding and "burst in to flames".
The man, who escaped with "minor cuts and bruises", told police: "I've only just got it; picked it up an hour ago."

The car was a hardcore version of the mid-engined F430 supercar from 2004. The V8-engine can go from zero to 62mph in a mere 3.2secs, says Evo, with secondhand values reaching around £200,000.
However, South Yorkshire Police said "a number of witnesses [and] officers do not believe excess speed was a contributory factor in this collision" and that the accident may have been caused by wet roads.
"Over the past couple of weeks there has been a number of collisions where driving styles have not reflected the road and weather conditions," they added.
