After victories in Johannesburg and Bloemfontein, South Africa take an unassailable 2-0 lead to Newlands. But Jones says that his England squad will battle to end the series on a positive note.
Jones said: “We’ve had a really upbeat training week. We are up for the battle and are going to rip in on Saturday. We want another committed performance where it will be crucial to maintain our composure when the heat is on.”
The Springboks have also made five changes to the side that beat England 23-12 last weekend in Bloemfontein.
The Daily Telegraph reports that South Africa’s director of rugby Rassie Erasmus has selected Warrick Gelant at full-back, Jesse Kriel and Andre Esterhuizen in midfield, Elton Jantjies at fly-half and Chiliboy Ralepelle at hooker. Veteran hooker Schalk Brits, 37, starts on the bench.
