On Sunday, WikiLeaks posted two classified CIA documents explaining how spies can avoid having their cover blown when traveling through international airports.
The first document, "Surviving Secondary," includes information about handing screenings for agents on watchlists. The document encourages each agent to have a "consistent, well-rehearsed, and plausible cover," including creating false social media accounts prior to traveling. Above all, the manual notes, is maintaining cover, "no matter what."
The second document, "Schengen Overview," explains how to stay undercover in the European Union, a.k.a. the Schengen Area. The document explains what border officials look for in suspicious travelers.
