Bruce Campbell to star in an Evil Dead TV series

It's been more than 20 years since the Evil Dead series ended with Army of Darkness, but Ash is finally ready to pick up his boomstick again. Starz has picked up a 10-episode TV series, titled Ash vs. Evil Dead, that will continue the story of the horror-comedy franchise, with Bruce Campbell reprising his starring role.
Following the events of Army of Darkness, Ash "has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead," says a press release. "When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons – personal and literal."
Evil Dead director Sam Raimi will return to helm the first episode in the series, which will premiere sometime in 2015.
