A Denver Broncos fan whose unexplained disappearance from the team's game last Thursday sparked a week-long manhunt is safe, authorities said Wednesday.
Police in Pueblo, Colorado — a town more than 100 miles south of the Broncos' home stadium — found 53-year-old Paul Kitterman Tuesday outside a local Kmart. Kitterman was never in any danger, police said, but rather "had his fill of football" and went for a walk "somewhere warmer."
