Disney Weddings now feature 'wedding cake projection mapping' technology


Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings just put engaged couples determined to have an unforgettable reception on notice: The company's "Wishes Collection" wedding packages now offer "wedding cake projection mapping," meant to turn that already-significant confection into "a living piece of art."
What can you project onto your wedding cake? Anything, says Disney's Korri, who takes us through the entire process in a video you can check out here. This being a Disney-supported technology, of course, the promo includes a familiar fairy-tale scene:
As to the main concern: "Don't worry, your cake is still edible!" Korri tells us.

The cake mapping is only available as part of Disney's Wishes Collection weddings, which must take place at Walt Disney World and start at $12,000, depending on "basic elements of Collection," included in your big day.
