Florida woman shoots grandson after mistaking him for intruder

A Tampa woman shot her 7-year-old grandson, apparently thinking he was an intruder in her home.
The boy is in critical condition, according to Hillsborough County sheriff's deputies. He was shot around 1:00 a.m. Tuesday.
Linda Maddox, 63, was sleeping in her home, as were her twin grandsons. Maddox told the police she put a chair against the bedroom door for security, and she fired a revolver toward the door when she heard the chair move.

Unfortunately, the sound wasn't caused by an intruder, but her grandson Tyler Maddox. After being shot in the upper body, Tyler was taken to a hospital.
