On Monday night, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio went on Jimmy Kimmel Live to make good on his promise to sing "I Love L.A." if the New York Rangers lost to the Los Angeles Kings during the Stanley Cup finals.
Performing via satellite from Times Square, De Blasio warned the audience that he didn't have a great voice — and he wasn't kidding — but the mayor was given an assist by young singers from the 52nd Street Project. Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti was on hand in Kimmel’s studio to listen in, and had the tables been turned, would have been singing Frank Sinatra's "New York, New York." Check out de Blasio's performance below. --Catherine Garcia
