The highly anticipated Apple watch, aka the iWatch, is scheduled for an October launch, reports re/code. Sources within the company told the outlet that Apple will host a grand unveiling sometime that month. Apparently confident that it is going to be a hit, Apple plans to produce three million to five million units per month.
At re/code's Code Conference last week, Apple Vice President Eddy Cue said the company has the "best product pipeline" that he's seen in his 25 years of employment. Of course, it remains unclear what an iWatch even is. A report in the New York Times from last February indicated that it's possibly a "watch that double[s] as a computer, two-way radio, mapping device, or television."
