In an apparent declaration of allegiance to House Stark, Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin has launched a charity campaign to support New Mexico's Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary — and the gifts he's offering in exchange for a donation will certainly turn fans' heads. For $350, you'll get a signed map of Westeros. For $600, you'll get a signed Game of Thrones cookbook. For $7,500, you'll get a pair of tickets to the season five premiere of the show. And for a mere $20,000, you'll actually get the chance to appear in an upcoming book in Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series (assuming they ever gets published).

The full explanation:

At this level, you'll get the incredibly exclusive opportunity to have George name a character after you in a future A Song of Ice and Fire novel. There is one male character and one female character available. You can choose your character's station in the world (lordling, knight, peasant, whore, lady, maester, septon, anything) and you will certainly meet a grisly death! [Prizeo]

We kind of assumed that last part — but thanks for clarifying, George. Click over to Prizeo if you'd like to donate.
