Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, and Mark Hamill aren't exactly the young actors who took the world by storm in 1977 in George Lucas' original Star Wars. Or even the slightly older actors who wrapped up the original trilogy in 1983. But they are the perfect age to play Princess Leia, Han Solo, and Luke Skywalker 30 years later, which is — probably not coincidentally — when the new Star Wars trilogy is set to begin.
It has been widely expected that the three original actors will make at least an appearance in the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII, directed by J.J Abrams. (Here's a roundup of everything we know about Episode VII.) But after Hamill, Fisher, and Ford were spotted (or told us they were) in London over the weekend, right before the film stars production at Pinewood Studios, some 20 miles outside of London, it would now be shocking if they are not in the movie.
Honestly, despite all the secrecy from Lucasfilm, the actors themselves aren't even being all that coy at this point. Here's a tweet on Sunday from Peter Serafinowicz, the voice of Darth Maul in The Phantom Menace:
