New Yorker George Cardel, a 300-pound mechanical engineer, always planned on donating his body to science. But, when he died at 59, science didn't want him. Cardel's sister has filed a $2 million lawsuit alleging that a medical school at Hofstra University caused "grave humiliation" by rejecting her brother's corpse for its girth. His body was finally returned to the family, badly decomposed, after 13 days.
