A silver lining for Pete Carroll and his Seahawks: By winning "The Big Game," New England Patriots star quarterback and Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady will have to pay up $60,500 — the form of a tax bill owed to the IRS.

According to the Washington Examiner, a report by Americans for Tax Reform reveals that Brady "will have to pay $42,000 on his share of the $97,000 for playing in the championship, and another $18,500 for giving away the red Chevy Colorado pickup truck he won for being MVP to fellow player Malcolm Butler, who caught the game-winning interception."
