At least one tornado crashed through the small town of Van, Texas, on Sunday night, injuring at least 26 people and damaging about a third of the town, Van Zandt County fire marshal Chuck Allen told The Associated Press early Monday. Van wasn't alone — much of North Texas was hit by severe weather. Another tornado hit near Denton, 40 miles northwest of Dallas, earlier Sunday, and the area experienced flash flooding from torrential rains.
