Jimmy Fallon digs up obscure '80s hit for Lena Dunham lip-sync showdown

On Friday's Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon bravely picked a ballad for his first song in a friendly, sometimes awkward lip-sync battle with Lena Dunham. And not just a ballad, but a New Age-y song of self-actualization that hit No. 3 on the U.S. charts 1982, "I've Never Been to Me," by a one-hit wonder named Charlene. Dunham seemed to rely more on choreography than lip-sync prowess for her numbers, a Calvin Harris (feat. Ellie Goulding) number and a Queen song for which she requested audience participation.

Fallon didn't need to ask for the audience to join in on his second pick, though he lost style points for catching his dropped mic afterward. "I was going to drop the mic," Fallon explained, "but it's very, very expensive." "You can't drop the mic, you're a father," Dunham shot back. And maybe that's what turned the crowd.
