A pilot in French Guinea recently made a startling discovery on an otherwise routine flight: a feline passenger who wasn't accounted for at lift-off. A video uploaded to YouTube Sunday shows the pilot was unaware of the cat's presence on the ultra-light plane until about a minute into the flight, when it crawls into view. Then, as The Guardian puts it, "Never before has a man's face said, 'there's a cat on the wing of my plane' with such unequivocal clarity."
Upon discovering the cat, the pilot quickly landed the plane, returning the terrified stowaway to the ground. The cat, who serves as the flying club's mascot, is in good health and presumably has no plans to pursue a pilot's license any time soon.
