A still of Lena Dunham in "Girls" Season 2

Girls creator Lena Dunham is starting an email newsletter designed for women ages 18 through 34, although she suggests on Twitter that you ought to also sign up "your mom, your dad, your radical niece, [and] your silent cousin," if that counts as a target demographic. Lenny — as Dunham's newsletter is called — aims to be "your over sharing internet friend who will yell at you about your finances, help you choose a bathing suit, lamp, president... AND tell you what to do if you need an abortion." Great, bases covered!

The newsletter will be co-written with Girls producer Jenni Konner and edited by Jessica Grose, formerly of Slate and Jezebel. Lenny's motto proudly states that there's "no such thing as too much information," although oversharing has gotten Dunham into hot water before.
