Watch Tina Fey, Amy Poehler show off their detective skills on The Tonight Show

Tina Fey on "The Tonight Show."

Quick, someone give Amy Poehler and Tina Fey a cop show. Along with Jimmy Fallon, the pair played "True Confessions" on Tuesday's The Tonight Show, with each one sharing a confession, followed by the other two spending 60 seconds interrogating them in order to figure out if it was a lie or the truth. Poehler was quick with the rapid fire questioning, while Fey and Fallon played it cool. Fallon concluded that Poehler's admission ("I once helped Yoko Ono cross the street") was believable since she is a really nice person who would help someone cross the street, but Fallon's confession ("In college, my friend and I were robbed by a drug dealer with a sawed-off shotgun") rang false to Fey. After Fallon said the guy's name was Shawn, she quickly pointed out, "That's not true, you only have one friend and his name is Gerard." Watch the video below to find out which one of these funny people is also a really good liar. Catherine Garcia
