Venezuela might run out of beer by August

Venezuelan breweries are running out of barley, malt, and other imported ingredients needed to make beer, Fusion reports.
Beer accounts for 70 percent of liquor sales there, a National Association of Liquor Store Owners spokeswoman said in a news release. The beer industry already reportedly owes about $200 million to international suppliers.
Beer is just the latest product that could be difficult for Venezuelans to find due to falling oil prices, which have hurt Venezuela's most lucrative industry. Toilet paper, shampoo, chicken, and beef are already scarce.
