Arby's thanks Jon Stewart for his years of grotesque abuse, using Golden Girls song

Arby's apparently lives by the adage that no publicity is bad publicity. So with Jon Stewart down to his final Daily Show, the sandwich chain that has suffered years of public abuse at Stewart's hands released an ad capitalizing on Stewart's well-known, apparently random disdain for Arby's food. With a man singing "Thank You For Being a Friend," the Golden Girls theme song, in the background, the ad shows Stewart maligning Arby's over and over again, often with disgusting imagery.

At the end of the ad, Arby's tries for the last laugh, telling Stewart: "Not sure why, but we'll miss you." And maybe they'll get it. If Daily Show fans find their pain and grief at Stewart's departure too hard to digest, maybe they'll stop by Arby's — anything to stop the dull heartache, even if it's an acute stomachache.
