Some things in life are constant: Death, taxes, and AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka's disdain for Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R).

After news broke Monday that Walker planned to suspend his presidential campaign, Trumka released a short statement, saying: "Scott Walker is still a disgrace, just no longer national." It was a more verbose follow up to the remarks he made in July when Walker announced he was entering the race: "Scott Walker is a national disgrace."

Trumka and Walker were often at odds due to Walker's record of fighting unions in Wisconsin, and just last week, Trumka blasted Walker's proposal to eliminate the National Labor Relations Board and public-sector unions, The Hill reports. Walker, he said, is a "one trick pony" who keeps "attacking working people."
