"Wow," Aziz Ansari said on Thursday's Tonight Show, in character as Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R). "This is crazy! I've never been invited back to a TV show before." Jimmy Fallon asked his Jindal impersonator why he dropped out of the race, and Ansari noted, accurately, that Jindal had only suspended his campaign. When Fallon asked what the difference is, Ansari's Jindal said that his campaign is like Han Solo in Return of the Jedi, and he will "thaw it out in 2020." The real Bobby Jindal says that, post-campaign, he will dedicate himself to his think tank, but Ansari's Jindal plans to host a Fox News show with an unintentionally off-color name.
