The suspected Kalamazoo shooter allegedly took Uber fares between shootings

Jason Dalton, the man police suspect fatally shot six people in three separate but related shootings in Kalamazoo, Michigan, on Saturday, was an Uber driver that allegedly took fares during the rampage, NBC affiliate WOOD-TV 8 reports.
Dalton reportedly dropped off passengers at a hotel before opening fire on people in vehicles outside the nearby Cracker Barrel, the third shooting location Saturday.
The ride-sharing company confirmed that Dalton was an Uber driver, saying he had passed a background check. Joe Sullivan, the company's chief security officer, gave WOOD-TV 8 the following statement:
