Rudy Giuliani has been advising Donald Trump

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R) hasn't yet endorsed a 2016 presidential candidate, but he's certainly helping one out — Republican frontrunner Donald Trump. Giuliani has offered up advice — on the phone and in person — about how to tweak his campaign, The Washington Post reports.
"We've been talking," Guiliani said. "Donald and me, Donald and a few other friends who know politics. He calls to check things out or I'll call him to say, 'Donald, you’re going too far' or 'What you said was great' or maybe 'Change it a bit.' It's nothing formal. It's kind of a running conversation. There is candor and there is trust."
Trump also confirmed the back-and-forth with Giuliani, who by this time in the 2008 election had already dropped his bid.
