Donald Trump will not be crossed. During a Monday night rally in Las Vegas, the Republican frontrunner announced that he wished to punch a protester "in the face," saying he thought the guards were "being very gentle with him."
Trump told the audience the protester had been "throwing punches," although a Politico reporter on site said that by the time he reached the spot where the protester was being removed, "the man was not throwing punches." Later, South Point security personnel admitted the man hadn't thrown punches at all and that Trump was "just over-exaggerating."
"We're not allowed to punch back anymore," Trump said. "You know what they used to do to a guy like that in a place like this? They'd be carried out on a stretcher, folks."
