Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton racked up the lion's shares of their respective parties' delegates on Super Tuesday, but they also won a contest they probably didn't realize they were competing in.
Other nuggets from the world of Google's analytics, the hive mind of American voters: Searches for "Chris Christie, vice president" shot up at least 300 percent while he was standing glumly behind Trump at Trump's victory rally; queries about whether Sen. Ted Cruz can beat Trump jumped at least 250 percent Tuesday night; and in Texas, the top-trending search question about the time polls were closing: "Why is Trump winning?" Trump didn't win Texas, but it's a question Texans aren't alone in asking Tuesday night.
