Mitch McConnell is completely ruling out a confirmation for Merrick Garland — even after November

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) is sticking to his guns. On CNN's State of the Union, he said President Obama's Supreme Court nominee, Merrick Garland, will not be confirmed, even after the November presidential election.

"This nomination ought to be made by the next president," McConnell said Sunday.
