Trump just learned about the weird rules of GOP delegates — and he's pissed
Donald Trump won about 3 percent more votes than Ted Cruz in the Louisiana Republican primary, but Cruz stands to walk away with as many as 10 more delegates from the state supporting him at the Republican National Convention thanks to arcane delegate allocation rules (which vary widely by state).
Needless to say, Trump is not happy. He took to Twitter Sunday afternoon to threaten a lawsuit against the GOP:
In an interview on ABC earlier that day, Trump argued that "what’s going on in the Republican Party is a disgrace."

"I won Louisiana and now I hear [Cruz is] trying to steal delegates," he said. "I have so many more votes and so many more delegates. And, frankly, whoever at the end, whoever has the most votes and the most delegates should be the nominee."
