Hillary Clinton plays it cool after AP calls her the presumptive Democratic nominee

After media outlets projected that she has enough delegates to become the Democratic Party's presumptive presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton was careful not to get ahead of herself.

On Twitter Monday night, Clinton announced that while she's "flattered" by the upgrade from likely to presumptive, she still has to get through Tuesday's primaries in California, New Mexico, New Jersey, South Dakota, and Montana, plus a caucus in North Dakota (this was retweeted by her husband, who said he wanted to see a "great turnout tomorrow!"). Wanting to ensure that voters still go to the polls, Clinton noted "we are on the brink of a historic moment," but there's "still work to do," and she will be "fighting for every vote." Later, she tweeted what might have been an olive branch to supporters of Bernie Sanders: "Let's finish this primary strong and head into the general election together." Catherine Garcia
