Minnesota state representative says the key to surviving police interactions is not being a 'thug'

A former sheriff weighs in on police force.

According to Minnesota state representative Tony Cornish (R-Vernon Center), there are a few really simple ways to "reduce the use of force by police." And the police don't even have to do anything! Behold his ad in a Minnesota newspaper Wednesday:

Nope, it seems Cornish believes the key to reducing the use of force by police is getting those darn citizens to stop being so unruly that police decide to use force. Cornish is a former sheriff who has been serving in the Minnesota House of Representatives since 2002 but sadly in all those years, it seems no one ran an ad in the newspaper on "how to not be racist".
