You could have free tickets waiting in your Ticketmaster account

A settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit first filed against Ticketmaster in 2003, and millions of customers are reaping the benefits in the form of free tickets.
Customers in the United States who purchased tickets online between October 1999 and February 2013 and paid an order processing fee that was never refunded will each receive "at least one" ticket code in their accounts that can be redeemed for two general admission tickets, CNN Money reports. Of course, there's a catch — the codes can only be used for tickets to select events at venues owned and operated by Live Nation Entertainment, Ticketmaster's parent company. So far, no eligible events have been announced.
The lawsuit alleged that Ticketmaster charged "excessive and deceptive fees," a claim the company denied. It agreed last April in a settlement to issue members of the class action lawsuit $45 million worth of discounts, tickets, and cash. It may have taken years, but for everyone who ended up paying $20 worth of fees on a ticket that cost just $15, victory is finally yours.
