The day after beating the Golden State Warriors for the franchise's first-ever NBA title, the Cleveland Cavaliers brought the Larry O'Brien Trophy home to Ohio on Monday. The team received a hero's welcome at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, where thousands of fans greeted the team as players disembarked from the plane, until finally, homegrown superstar LeBron James emerged with the trophy:
The Cavs stopped in Las Vegas en route from Oakland on Sunday night, where the players celebrated their historic come-from-behind win at XS Las Vegas. The Cavaliers' official championship parade will take place in downtown Cleveland on Wednesday.
