Donald Trump boasts that he 'called it' on New York City's weekend bombing

During a Monday morning interview with Fox and Friends, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump bragged that he "called" the New York City bombing before the media had. Trump, during a rally Saturday night in Colorado, told the crowd that a "bomb went off" in New York, though neither the media nor public officials had confirmed what caused the explosion. "What I said was exactly correct," Trump said Monday. "I should be a newscaster because I called it before the news."
While brushing off accusations that he "called it too soon," Trump lamented law enforcement's reticence to employ racial profiling. "We don't want to do any profiling," Trump said. "If somebody looks like he's got a massive bomb on his back, we won't go up to that person ... because if he looks like he comes from that part of the world, we're not allowed to profile. Give me a break."
Trump said that because our leaders have been "stupid" and our country has been "weak," explosions like those over the weekend in New York City's Chelsea neighborhood and on the Jersey Shore will happen "perhaps more and more all over the country."
