Stephen Colbert, Tim Meadows slyly explore the benefits for black Donald Trump backers

"I don't have to tell you folks that Donald Trump's not doing very well with African-American voters," Stephen Colbert said on Wednesday's Late Show. "While some polls out there show Trump with 0 percent support among African-Americans, we found one. For his unique perspective, we turn now to our dear friend, a board-certified black Republican, entrepreneur, and Trump University graduate, P.K. Winthrop." That would be comedian Tim Meadows, dressed in golf attire. "What do you think about Donald Trump saying there's never been a worse time for black people?" Colbert asked. "Well, that's true, Stephen, unless 'time' includes history," Meadows replied. "But let me tell you, this black person has never had it better." The part about black Trump supporters being "pure gold," on the principle that scarcity increases value, seems plausible, but Winthrop's business model is suspect. Watch below. Peter Weber
