The Cut asked 8 women why they're still voting for Trump. Here's what they said.
While most polls show Donald Trump losing by double-digits with women, his lewd comments haven't chased away every female voter. In a piece published Wednesday, The Cut decided to explore how Trump-supporting ladies reconcile voting for a man who has been accused of sexually harassing 12 women and who has bragged about grabbing women "by the pussy."
For some, like Jane Biddick, the groping comments just weren't that big of a deal. "I heard that he said something about groping women, and I'm thinking, Okay, No. 1, I think that'd be great," Biddick told The Cut. "I like getting groped! I'm heterosexual. I'm a woman, and when a guy gropes me, I get groping on them! I grope them back. Groping is a healthy thing to do." Another woman, Merchon Andersen, said, we have just "become so wussified" that "pretty soon, saying hello to someone is going to be considered harassment."
For others, the issues trump the candidate's character. Tina Vondran said her faith prevents her from voting "for a candidate who believes abortion is right," though she'd "love to see a woman president." Cindy Corson said she hasn't "been a Trump fan in any form," but that she's willing to vote along party lines because "Republicans need to be in office." She is also concerned about the pending Supreme Court appointment.

And for many of the ladies, the idea of a President Hillary Clinton just isn't something they can stomach. "I think it's a disgrace to have Clinton as our first woman president. She does not represent women at all — or me, as a woman, at all," Allison Doyle said. "Her husband is such scum. I've never heard about Trump cheating. I know he's had multiple marriages — which, in today's society, who doesn't?"
