Melania Trump wore an eye-catching white pantsuit in the wee hours of Wednesday morning, as her husband spoke his first words to the nation as its president-elect. Trump's $4,000 Ralph Lauren number was allegedly a dig at Hillary Clinton's own choice to wear white pantsuits in the run-up to Election Day as a tribute to the suffragettes and mark of her historic campaign. "OKAY, WE GET IT," The Federalist screamed. "Hillary Clinton is a woman. She is was running for president. And she is wearing white to clap back at all those sexist jerks who didn't let women vote back in the day. Melania Trump turned this faux-feminist narrative on its head by reminding us all that women can wear white, look good, and vote for whoever the hell they want."
Trump has been accused of subtle fashion jabs before, such as when she wore a "pussy bow" blouse in the wake of her husband's lewd comments about grabbing women by the genitals.
