Donald Trump is reportedly thinking about Breitbart's Steve Bannon for White House chief of staff

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus might not be the frontrunner for White House chief of staff after all. The New York Times reported Thursday that President-elect Donald Trump is also considering Steve Bannon, the executive chairman of conservative website Breitbart News, calling Bannon "a leading candidate" for the position. Bannon previously served as Trump's campaign CEO.
While Bannon is reportedly "well liked among Mr. Trump's circle of overlapping advisers," Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, apparently favor Priebus, The New York Times reported. Because Priebus is close to both Vice President-elect Mike Pence and House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), some think he could prove key to bridging the gap in the Republican Party.
Other contenders for White House chief of staff are reportedly Trump's former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, campaign manager Kellyanne Conway, and Trump's deputy campaign manager David Bossie.
