Thousands of protesters gathered across the United States Thursday for the second day in a row to protest the election of Donald Trump.

Demonstrators are holding court outside Trump Tower in New York, and in Baltimore and Los Angeles, where at one point hundreds walked onto a freeway. Earlier in the day, students from at least 10 schools in San Francisco marched through the streets, carrying flags and chanting, "Hey hey, ho ho, Donald Trump has got to go!" In Washington, D.C., about 100 protesters marched from the White House to the Trump International Hotel blocks away, yelling, "Love trumps hate!" More protests are expected later in the week in additional cities, including Miami, Dallas, Louisville, Kentucky, and Grand Rapids, Michigan.
