Curb Your Enthusiasm returns after 6-year hiatus

Curb Your Enthusiasm will return for its ninth season this fall, HBO announced Monday. The Larry David-driven comedy series, which premiered in 2000, went on hiatus after its eighth season finished in 2011.
TV Guide writes that the eighth season "found most of the [show's] characters heading to New York City, but where they'll be now (most of the series was set in Los Angeles), or whether the show will riff off the extensive break, isn't yet known." The typically curmudgeonly tagline — "He left. He did nothing. He returned" — might offer a tantalizing answer.
