Longtime Clinton ally Paul Begala suggested President Trump ought to consider blowing up Russia's intelligence headquarters during an appearance on CNN. "We were and are under attack by a hostile foreign power," Begala said. "We should be debating how many sanctions we should place on Russia or whether we should blow up the KGB … or GRU. We should be retaliating massively."
While many Trump critics have called the president too soft on Russia, Trump and his supporters claimed during the campaign that if Hillary Clinton were to be elected, "you're going to end up in World War III."
"You're not fighting Syria anymore, you're fighting Syria, Russia, and Iran, all right?" Trump said in October. "Russia is a nuclear country, but a country where the nukes work as opposed to other countries that talk."
