Longtime late-night TV host David Letterman has signed on to his first project since retiring from CBS's Late Show in 2015. The comedian will return to the screen for a six-episode Netflix series, which does not yet have a name. In the show, Letterman "will conduct one in-depth interview with a guest per hour-long episode and will appear in segments produced outside a studio setting," the Los Angeles Times writes.

Letterman is one more addition to Netflix's impressive collection of comedians, including recent deals with Jerry Seinfeld, Dave Chapelle, Chris Rock, and Amy Schumer.
