Joe Biden sends Julia Louis-Dreyfus message of support, 'from one veep to another'

After Veep star Julia Louis-Dreyfus announced Thursday that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer, support came flooding in from fans and her fellow Hollywood stars — plus a special friend in D.C.
"We Veeps stick together," former Vice President Joe Biden tweeted to Louis-Dreyfus. "Jill and I, and all of the Bidens, are with you, Julia." His message was accompanied by a photo of the pair from a sketch they appeared in at the 2014 White House Correspondents' Dinner. Louis-Dreyfus appreciated the sentiment, replying, "Yes we do. Love back to all of you."
Biden's son, Beau, died of brain cancer in 2015, and he launched the Biden Cancer Initiative this year after leaving the White House — it aims to make strides in cancer prevention, detection, diagnosis, research, and care. Catherine Garcia
